The goal of the Membership Committee is to grow the ABWA WNY membership and to support all new and existing members in regards to membership. Members of this committee answer questions about membership and help new members with the application process. New Member Orientations are held periodically to assist new members in learning more about ABWA WNY and introducing them to the many benefits of membership.
The Membership Committee also works on events, such as networking happy hours as way to introduce ABWA to professional women across Western New York. These events are held several times a year in different locations throughout Western New York.
This committee also coordinates ABWA’s Mentor Program, where new members are paired with long standing members as a way to give them a smooth and effortless entry into the organization.
