October 2018 Spotlight :: Bridget Hawn

Bridget Hawn
Quality Project Manager - Immco Diagnostics

Meet Bridget Hawn, Quality Project Manager, Reiki Practitioner, Spiritual Counselor/Life Coach and Ordained Minister!

Rev. Bridget Hawn is a Quality Project Manager for Immco Diagnostics for her day job but has started to work for myself part time (with the hope of full time) as a Reiki Practitioner, Spiritual counselor/Life Coach and ordained minister.  She practices out of Tranquil Touch LLC, located at 745 Millersport Highway, Amherst, NY. She has been working as a Quality Project Manager for 30ish years, and a Spiritual Development/advisor for about 35 years.

For Bridget, Quality Project Manager was a natural progression from all of my life experience.  The Spiritual work is following her Soul’s purpose.  Bridget loves helping to come up with a solution to situations, especially when it comes to another’s Spiritual development.

As a QA Project Manager, Bridget ensure the quality system stays the well-oiled machine it is and if/when a wrench is thrown into the works, she gets to the bottom of it and make a plan to mitigate the situation.  As a Spiritual Counselor, she helps people with their issues through spiritual advisement.

She has a high school diploma and a year of college but plenty of on the job training. Bridget is like a sponge when it comes to learning new things. Bridget has two grown sons, Ezra and Jerad and is currently living in the Town of Tonawanda.

Some of Bridget’s  hobbies include quilting, reading, traveling and painting with acrylics! She says painting is a zen experience! One of her favorite traveling experiences was when she went to visit a Monastery in the Catskills (alone) and it was a very peaceful experience! Bridget also likes to volunteer as a Foster Mom for the Erie County SPCA.

Bridget learned about ABWA from the owner of Tranquil Touch was asked to be a part of the SHINE event and she was asked to help stuff swag bags.  When she met the wonderful group of ladies that were all there pulling together to make that happen, Bridget knew she wanted to be a part of them. Bridget feels that is important to have loving, supportive people around you no matter what you do in life.

Bridget states “ABWA is an organization where you can have the support and comradery of a great group of women!”
